I suggest you ...

make batterybar calculate time remaining during current use

the time remaining is not accurate. the time doesn't run down with the clock. need to remove the time remaining calculations based on HISTORY usage. need to make calculations based on current usage.

The time remaining is calculated as an average of past usage, but it’s also adjusted if your battery is draining slower or quicker than normal.

In the Pro version you can turn off the statistical time remaining and use a simple time remaining estimate.

hi I noticed this issue myself. I am using it on an Asus EeePC 1000HE netbook while running Windows 7 RC. The time remaining does not adjust based on power usage. For example: if I switch from Auto Mode/Balanced (auto mode switches between high performance mode on ac and power saving on battery, Balanced is the Windows 7 power setting) to Power Saving/Power Saving and turning the brightness down to the lowest level, this should result in about a 2 hour increase in battery life. I notice the difference with the windows power meter...but the power meter in BatteryBar remains the same. The only way I can get BatteryBar to notice the difference is turning off the statistical time remaining since I have the pro version. Now this seems to be a major bug to me...but since this is on an unsupported OS and a release candidate at that...I will also test it on Windows XP which I can boot to (it is installed alongside). I will report back to see if it acts the same.
